#10 and 24
#10 - Melody A.M, Royksopp
I have a moment, but only one since Jack Bauer is about to kick some ass. Thus, I'll keep it short and sweet.
Featuring the vocals of Erlend Oye and some groovy beats, this record mixes laid back lounge with upbeat dance. My favorite tracks feature my main man, of course, (Erlend, not Jack) - "Poor Leno" and "Remind Me." "So Easy" is also a great opener.

This is a memorable choice. I remember listening to this album in a "New Releases" section of a Virgin megastore in a pre-Katrina downtown New Orleans when Sarah and I were down there for Sean and Julia's wedding and thinking: "Rob and Shawna would like this." And you guys certainly came to such a conclusion independently. I'll never forget starting up our Mac for the very first time to the tune of "Eple." Or of watching Poor Leno use his prison dish as a drum on yours.
Isn't mama's line "I have a moment, but only one since Jack Bauer is about to kick some ass" a metaphor for all of life?
Never heard this album but I have to say the cool album cover alone makes me want to dig in...
instead of kick some a, she could have reminded us all about the time he threatened to put the towel down the guys throat (holding on to the end), wait for it to digest, then pull it back out along with the stomach lining...
